
This is what I like to hear… “30 Rock” will air a live episode on October 14, according to NBC. “Tina Fey is up for it, coming from Saturday Night Live,” NBC President of Primetime Entertainment, Angela Bromsted, said at the Television Critics Association today.

Cool “Parks and Recreation” news… the always gorgeous Rob Lowe (seriously, does he ever age?!) has been promoted to a permanent Parks & Rec cast member.
NBC made the announcement during this morning’s Television Critics Association Press Tour. Adam Scott, formerly of Party Down, was earlier promoted to a series regular, so I look forward to seeing more of these two!

If you have a major case of the sads over the confirmed news that Steve Carell is leaving The Office… you’re not alone. Carell confirmed during the red carpet for his movie “Despicable Me” that he’ll be exiting The Office in May.
Steve Carell told E! News: “I just think it’s time. I want to fulfill my contract. When I first signed on I had a contract for seven seasons, and this coming year is my seventh. I just thought it was time for my character to go.” Read the rest of this entry »

While “Heroes” has been officially canceled, there may be a sliver of hope for fans looking to wrap up the series… NBC president Angela Bromstad says that a two-hour Heroes finale movie may air in 2011.
While this is not yet a sure thing, Bromstad says she’ll talk with Heroes creator Tim Kring about wrapping up the series, most likely in a two-hour movie, versus a miniseries as some had speculated. Read the rest of this entry »
