Chuck Returns January 10; Season 3 Premiere January 10

Chuck returns on January 10! Chuck fans can finally put the show back on their calendars, with the two-hour season premiere set for January 10.

Not to worry about the season premiere on Sunday, however. Following the two-hour special, Chuck will be back in its Monday at 8 p.m. timeslot on January 11.

Will Arnett to Guest Star on Parks and Recreation

What was just a rumor yesterday has been confirmed today – Will Arnett will be a guest star on wife Amy Poehler’s Parks and Recreation.

Will Arnett will play an MRI technician for just one episode.

Parks and Recreation may very well be the most improved player on the TV schedule this year. If you passed on it last season, give it another try – P&R has stepped up its game 1,000 percent.

Heroes Spoiler? Adrian Pasdar Killed Off Heroes

Buzz about a major character getting killed off Heroes has finally come to a head, as it’s been revealed online in spoilers that Adrian Pasdar’s Nathan Petrelli will be killed off.

Seems Adrian Pasdar didn’t even know he was getting fired – he learned that his character dies in the script. Ouch.

Heroes fans may be pissed about the spoiler, but many aren’t surprised by Adrian Pasdar being killed off – after all, his character already died last season and most expected he’d be gone by season’s end anyway.

Still others are saying Adrian Pasdar may have caught a lucky break, being fired from a show that’s seemingly getting worse with each episode.

Southland Canceled by NBC, Picked Up by TNT

Awesome news for Southland fans… the drama series will find new life after NBC canceled it – on TNT.

TNT will begin airing Southland in January; the series was canceled after Jay Leno’s show took over the 10:00 hour five nights a week.

TNT will re-air Southland’s original seven episodes that aired on NBC, plus six new hours. TNT may order more episodes if ratings prove successful (so make sure to watch it!!).

Look for Southland to air on TNT on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m., beginning January 12 – opposite The Jay Leno Show!

Anthony Michael Hall to Guest Star on “Community”

It’s a “Vacation” reunion! Anthony Michael Hall will guest star on an upcoming episode of “Community,” which co-stars Vacation’s Chevy Chase.

Look for Anthony Michael Hall to appear on Community’s Christmas episode, airing December 10. Anthony Michael Hall will play a bully who challenges Joel McHales character (Jeff) to a fight.

Here’s hoping for some little in-joke about Vacation between Chevy Chase and Anthony Michael Hall. If not, it’s nice just to see Chevy Chase doing something funny again.

“Chuck” Gets Additional Episodes for Season Three

NBC has reportedly ordered additional episodes of “Chuck,” adding to the existing 13 episodes for season three.

While specifics are not yet available, insiders say NBC may order as many as six additional episodes for season 3.

Now the little detail of when Chuck will return to the schedule – some rumors of an early return were bubbling recently, but other reports say to expect Chuck in mid-January.

NBC to Move “Chuck” Season 3 Premiere Up to October?

While “Chuck” fans may not quite want to do the happy dance yet… it’s being rumored that Chuck’s season 3 premiere will be moved up to October, versus the March midseason premiere originally planned.

EW.com is reporting that NBC may air Chuck as early as late October due to slumping viewer numbers and the vacancy left by Southland.

Now comes the next monkeywrench – what night will Chuck air? Some sources are saying it would return to Monday nights, but others are gossiping that a change in night may go down.

Please just don’t air it on kiss-of-death-Friday. Pretty please?

Glee Creator Responds to NBC Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Snub

Glee creator Ryan Murphy is responding to NBC’s decision to pull the Glee cast from Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Ryan Murphy explains, “I completely understand NBC’s position, and look forward to seeing a Jay Leno float.” Zinger, well played.

Macy’s had originally extended an offer for the Glee cast to perform in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, but NBC decided to dump them because Glee is on another network and (some sources say) that the parade would further promote the hit show.
