Justin Timberlake stuck to his promise, attending The Basic School Instructor Battalion 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball this past weekend after being asked on a date by Corporal Kelsey DeSantis via YouTube video.

Perry described the single, noting that she felt a lot of people could relate: “I wrote this song about when you promise someone forever, but you end up not being able to follow through.
