Big news going on during the Grammys – both Rihanna and Chris Brown have canceled their Grammy performances following an investigation of Chris Brown’s alleged assault on a female.
According to People.com, around 12:30 a.m. today, Brown got into an argument with a woman in a vehicle in L.A. Brown stopped the car, the argument got more heated and apparently the woman suffered visible injuries. She identified Chris Brown as the attacker.
The Recording Academy announced that Rihanna will not attend/perform at the Grammys, nor will Chris Brown perform at the event as he was originally scheduled to do.
UPDATE: Well, it’ll be interesting to see how this all shakes out. TMZ reports that Chris Brown turned himself in to the LA police in connection with this alleged domestic violence assault. It was Rihanna who was in the car with Chris Brown – the couple got into an argument that resulted in injuries to Rihanna.
Jessica Simpson’s Grand Rapids concert meltdown news is making the rounds today. Apparently, Jessica Simpson got rattled because boyfriend Tony Romo missed his flight and didn’t show for her concert.
Jessica Simpson performed a 38-minute set opening for Rascal Flatts, during which she commented, “I’m so excited, I get to see my boyfriend tomorrow. He’s the person who makes me relax.”Read the rest of this entry »

Taylor Swift not only graces the upcoming cover of Self magazine, but her music video for “White Horse” is set to premiere on CMT Saturday, February 7 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. You can also see the “White Horse” music video on CMT.com.

Musical teen phenoms Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are planning a duet at this year’s Grammy Awards. The already star-studded 2009 Grammys will feature a performance by Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus on February 8 on CBS.
Other performances include Kanye West and Estelle, Adele, Chris Brown, Sugarland a Four Tops tribute with original member Duke Fakir, Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo. U2, Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney, Jennifer Hudson, Jonas Brothers, Rihanna and Carrie Underwood will also perform at the Grammys.
