After an eventful season in Italy, the Jersey Shore returns to its roots in Seaside Heights – Vinny is seen leaving the house and The Situation and Snooki face off with Sitch noting, “This is Hurricane Situation and it’s headed straight for Snooki Island.”

Other gems include Snooki’s declaration: “I look like a Jersey skank… and I love it!”

Season 5 of the Jersey Shore premieres on January 5.

Yep, a streaker joined Hayden Panettiere on stage in a pretty NSFW display (video) of full frontal naked-y nudity.

During Jersey Shore filming in Florence, Italy, Snooki struck the back of a police patrol car.

Snooki was taken into custody for the crash – you can check out pictures at TMZ.com.

Alcohol was not a factor and no one was injured.

Deena told MTV News of the Jersey Shore season 4 in Italy: “Can’t wait! I honestly can’t wait to get there and see the place. For some reason, I really want to go on a gondola ride. Or I would like if we’re in Rome, I would like to see the love fountain, so I’m thinking I’ll steal a coin … maybe I’ll fall in love.”

Vinny shares in the video, “Preparing for Italy is pretty much preparing for any of the other seasons, trying to get in shape, trying to spend some time with my family, chill out, the quiet before the storm. I’m excited to be thrown right into the water with whatever language skills I have.”
