Is there any truth to the Miley Cyrus tattoo rumors running rampant? Will the 16-year-old get a tattoo of boyfriend Justin Gaston’s initials in a heart?

Miley Cyrus is rumored to have designed the tattoo of Justin Gaston’s initials. Aww. Uh…wait. She’s only 16, so how does Miley pull off a tattoo?

Since Miley Cyrus would need her parents permission to get a tattoo, the buzz is that “she’s trying to play her mom, Tish, against her dad to get one of them to agree to the tattoo,” a source told Inquisitr.com.

While former American Idol finalist Michael Johns hasn’t been grabbing headlines, he is still making music – take a listen to “Another Christmas” in the video clip above.

Michael Johns will release “Another Christmas” on iTunes December 9 – with proceeds from the song’s sale going to fight Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Michael Johns says this in a statement: “Losing a family member to such a horrible disease is just so hard. It is a disease that is not often talked about and does not get anywhere near the funding it should.”

Michael Johns sings “Dream On” by Aerosmith in this April 8 American Idol video clip. I like how he explains how he identifies with the “Dream On” lyrics in his pre-performance video.

Randy thought it was a pretty good song choice, but some pitch problems; Paula thought it was a perfect song to pick, he was unbelievable; Simon thought it was a very good performance, but thought he was doing an impersonation of a rock star.

American Idol 7 Finalists: Michael Johns

No doubt about it, Michael Johns is the sexy black horse of the American Idol competition this year. He’s got the look – but more importantly, he’s got the voice to go along with it. Michael Johns has that sort of “it factor,” as Simon Cowell would put it. Michael Johns is a bluesy rocker – but he’s authentic too.

Michael Johns also takes risks and challenges himself vocally – proof would be his renditions of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” during Hollywood week as well as the Queen classics “We Will Rock You/We are the Champions.” It’s no small task to take on Freddie Mercury vocals and nail them.

Michael Johns will likely go far on American Idol 7. Does he have enough “it” to sail through and win it all? Maybe not… but this competition definitely won’t be the last we’ve seen of Michael Johns.
