NBC canceled Medium last year, but CBS picked up the Patricia Arquette series. Last month, CBS cut the Medium season 7 order to 13 episodes, and now Patricia Arquette confirms Medium has been canceled.

Arquette tells Entertainment Weekly: “We got canceled,” dishing on how the series might end: “They’re like, ‘we’re just going to burn the whole thing down!’”

Arquette added that “It’s been a great time. I love that time in my life.”

Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane have a five-year-old daughter together.

Thomas Jane is married to “Medium” star Patricia Arquette, and has made guest appearances on the drama. The couple have a five-year-old daughter, Harlow.

Patricia Arquette recently spoke about the upcoming Golden Globes and the likelihood that she’ll attend the ceremony:

“My feeling about being nominated is it is such a great honor and a pinnacle of your career and a nice recognition from your own industry. I don’t want to pooh pooh that and I don’t take that lightly. And selfishly, that’s a really nice thing. But it’s important to have moral conviction – even when it’s not convenient – so I don’t feel I could show up, unless there’s some kind of agreement made with the writers.”

So, what will go down in the fourth season of “Medium?” Well now that psychic Allison Dubois (played by Patricia Arquette) and her aerospace engineer husband, Joe, are out of jobs, and the public knows about Alison’s ability to see dead people – who knows?

Anjelica Huston will appear in six episodes as a private investigator.

• “American Gladiators” will begin January 6 (Sunday) at 9 PM before moving to Mondays at 8 PM on January 7.
• “Medium” will return on Monday nights for its fourth season, beginning on January 7 at 10 PM. Anjelica Huston will guest star for six episodes.
• “Deal of No Deal” will air Mondays at 9 PM beginning on January 7, as well as continuing at 8 PM on Wednesdays.
• “Baby Borrowers” is a new reality show beginning February 18 at 8 PM. While the title sounds a little strange, it’s a social experiment that shows teenagers the responsibility of caring for babies, getting a job and a home. On second thought, it sounds strange all around.
• “1 vs. 100″ returns on Fridays at 8 PM.

Other shows that will air this winter include “Celebrity Apprentice,” “The Biggest Loser,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”,” Lipstick Jungle” (February 7) and “Law & Order” (January 2).

NBC’s winter specials include “The Guinness Book of World Records — Live!” on January 27, which promises a “death-defying stunt never seen before on television.” NBC will also air “Top 100 Most Outrageous Moments” on February 10.
