This SNL sketch video – “A Ladies Guide to Throwing a Party” – was one of the few things that January Jones did right on Saturday Night Live. She nails the 50s housewife like it’s her job (see Mad Men) and the fact that it’s a pre-taped piece allows Jones to get it just right, something she had trouble with during any of the live sketches.

What did you think of “A Ladies Guide to Throwing a Party”? A “dash of gin” in the punch was pretty funny, as were the various guest greetings.

The January Jones hosted Saturday Night Live was bad overall, but I suppose there’s something a little funny about the juxtaposition of the beautiful Jones playing Grace Kelly with a farting problem in this “Rear Window” Hitchcock sketch.

Check out the video clip of one of the few SNL sketches that was funny – because fart humor rarely fails.

While it’s exciting to see how Don and Betty Draper and the rest of the Mad Men characters’ storylines will wrap up for the season (or provide a cliffhanger, as the case may be), it’s a little bittersweet to say farewell to another season while waiting for season 4 to start up again.

Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss, SNL’s Fred Armisen Married Over Weekend

Ivanka Trump wasn’t the only one getting hitched over the weekend… Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss and Saturday Night Live’s Fred Armisen were married on Sunday, according to Moss’ rep.

Elisabeth Moss and Fred Armisen were married at The Foundry in Long Island City, New York.

Armisen and Moss have been engaged since January.

Christina Hendricks married fiancé Geoffrey Arend in a New York wedding at the restaurant Il Buco on Sunday, October 11.

Inside the GQ issue, January Jones shows off her lingerie-clad body in a number of sexy photos.

January Jones also dishes on drinking games, starting fires and a certain ex-boyfriend (Ashton Kutcher, turns out) that told her acting wasn’t going to work for Jones.

January tells GQ:

“The guy I was dating when I first got to L.A. was not supportive of my acting. He was like, I don’t think you’re going to be good at this. So—fuck you! He only has nice things to say now—if anything, I should thank him. Because the minute you tell me I can’t do something, that’s when I’m most motivated.”
