Lifetime Movie Network is planning one of their “ripped-from-the-headlines” movies, with “The Natalee Holloway Story” set to air next year.
If you recall, Natalee Holloway was an 18-year-old student who disappeared in May 2005 during a high school trip to Aruba. This unsolved mystery will come to the small screen on Lifetime’s “The Natalee Holloway Story” – good to hear that at least the network is “working closely” with Holloway’s mother, Beth Twitty.
No word on casting just yet.

“How I Met Your Mother” fans, listen up! Lifetime will begin airing reruns of HIMYM beginning in fall 2010.
Lifetime has exclusive cable rerun rights to “How I Met Your Mother” – the show will join other sitcom reruns on the network, including “Reba,” “Still Standing,” “Will & Grace” and “Frasier.” Read the rest of this entry »

Don’t ever think there’s a shortage of reality series ideas – Lifetime is introducing their latest – “Blush: The Search for America’s Greatest Makeup Artist” – to accompany their newly acquired Project Runway.
“Blush: The Search for America’s Greatest Makeup Artist” will debut in November – with eight beauticians competing for a one-year contract with Max Factor, $100,000 and a job with a major magazine cover shoot.

“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” star Carson Kressley has personality to spare – and no shortage of job offers. The latest offer for Carson Kressley is his own daytime talk show on Lifetime.
Carson Kressley’s talk show will focus more on “real people” versus celebrities, according to Lifetime’s senior vp reality programming Jessica Samet. In some cases that may include the real people connected to celebs, like Tom Cruise’s “fifth grade math teacher.” Read the rest of this entry »

Yesterday, Lifetime announced that the hit Bravo series Project Runway would be making the move to Lifetime beginning in November (Project Runway’s sixth cycle). And NBC/Universal is taking legal action.
