Jay Leno wrapped up his last show on the May 29 Tonight Show last night – cracking jokes after a long standing ovation at the show’s open, interviewing Conan O’Brien, and listening as James Taylor performed.

Conan O’Brien has his first Tonight Show guests planned for the premiere June 1 show – Will Ferrell and Pearl Jam will appear on the kick-off show!
If you recall, Will Ferrell was the send-off guest on Conan O’Brien’s last Late Night show hosting gig, so it’ll be nice to have Ferrell on board for the new Tonight Show.

Very cool – the White Stripes will be performing on Conan O’Brien’s last Late Night show in New York on February 20. This will be the White Stripes’ first live performance since summer 2007!
Conan O’Brien is poised to take over for Jay Leno on the Tonight Show and will be moving to Los Angeles.
Jay Leno is leaving late night – but moving to primetime, as NBC is expected to make an announcement today that Leno will have a nightly 10 p.m. talk show on the network.
