Kat Von D tells People.com, “Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don’t hang out with anybody unless I am in love.”

Will Kat Von D and Jesse James go the distance though? When People asked if Jesse is “The One” for Kat, she said, “I believe he is, so yeah.”

Kat has no problem with Jesse’s personal life drama, saying, “I stayed away from that as much as possible, and when we connected recently, it was such a positive thing. It was just like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t spent this much time with you the entire time I’ve known you.’ Now I’m just embracing it and enjoying it.”

So, what happened with Kat Von D and Nikki Sixx? When did Kat and Nikki break up?

Kat Von D and Nikki Six first broke up in January, after reportedly dating for two years.

In January, Nikki Sixx confirmed that he and Kat Von D had split, writing on his MySpace page: “I want to wish Katherine nothing but the best in her life. She has loved and inspired the hell outta me and I know I have done the same for her in these almost two years we ruled the earth together.

We are taking a break from our relationship for reasons that we will choose to keep personal. You won’t find me saying a bad word about her and I don’t believe vice versa… We have too much wonderful history together to ever deface that.”

Kat Von D and Nikki Sixx were apparently back together a couple of months later, with Kat tweeting: “So annoyed! Contrary to silly rumors, Bam Margera and I are NOT dating. I’m currently in a relationship with Nikki. Hope that clears things up.”

Nikki Sixx appeared on the season premiere of Kat Von D’s “LA Ink,” where he interviewed then girlfriend Von D for his radio show Sixx Sense. (Check out the video clip.)

No word on when exactly Kat Von D and Nikki Sixx broke up again – they were spotted together in Sweden earlier this month.

As for Kat Von D and Jesse James dating, she was seen in Las Vegas over the weekend holding hands and having dinner with James.

We’ll see where this relationship goes…

Pretty funny, considering Kat Von D’s rep was insisting that no, they weren’t dating, giving the pat statement that Von D and Jesse James are “just friends.”

In question is an autographed picture of “LA Ink” tatoo artist Kat Von D to her former employer, Ami James, at “Miami Ink,” which says “Burn in hell Jewboy, xoxo Kat Von D.” The finishing touches on the autograph are a burning Star of David and a swastika.

Rumors started swirling that Kat Von D signed the racist autograph and that TLC, which airs her show “LA Ink,” was covering it up.

But Kat Von D is telling her fans the truth on her MySpace page. In part, her MySpace message says:

“I cannot begin to tell you how disgusted and disappointed i am with the recent rumors that started circulating around town, all of which are COMPLETELY FALSE.

Against the advice of my publicist, agent, and others, I have decided to be completely open and honest about the following, because you guys deserve that.”

Apparently, Kat Von D believes that one of her photos (which for some time she gave out to anyone who requested one), got into the wrong hands, saying:

“For those of you that HAVE received signed 8×10′s from me in the past, you can CLEARLY see that this is a slanderous case of FORGERY, FRAUD, and attempt at getting attention.”

And this is likely the last we’ll hear from Kat Von D:

“I am in no way, planning on discussing this topic any further with press, and refuse to feed into this drama. this is what they want, attention. But I have always felt like my MySpace was a place where true fans go, and we can stay connected through my blogs and bulletins. This is why I feel this inclined to let you guys be aware of the truth.”

Further, Kat Von D’s publicist released this statement:

“The recent accusation of a publicity photo of me with offensive and anti-semitic comments and graphics allegedly written by me is completely false and unfounded, and clearly a forgery. This was already proven many months ago to be 100 percent untrue. I always have been, and will continue to be an advocate for tolerance of all races, religions and ways of life.”
