Kristy Lee Cook sings “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood (1984) in this March 25 American Idol video clip. I’m not sure how much longer she’ll be around in the competition, but this song choice definitely suited her and will keep her out of the bottom three.
Randy said it was a nice performance; Paula said it was a good song choice; Simon said it was her best performance by a mile, said it was the most clever song choice.
