First lady Michelle Obama is seen on Sesame Street in this video clip, stopping by to help spread the word of a healthy lifestyle for parents and children. Michelle Obama will help celebrate Sesame Street’s 40th birthday in November.
During her Sesame Street appearance, Michelle Obama will teach everyone about planting a garden and healthy eating – part of the show’s “Healthy Habits for Life” initiative.
Carol-Lynn Parente, executive producer of Sesame Street, said in a statement, “It is truly an honor to have Mrs. Obama join us in our premiere show on this landmark 40th anniversary season.”

Nickelodeon’s The N is soon to be named “TeenNick” – September 28 marks the rebranding of the network name. And Nick Cannon (Mr. Mariah Carey) will serve as chairman to TeenNick, working to develop programming aimed at teens.
Nick Cannon said of the new gig at TeenNick, “I started my career here at Nickelodeon and am so excited to be back, serving as an integral part of TeenNick as the in-house voice and representative for teens everywhere. Wha? No more Nick splat? Nickelodeon has unveiled their new logo for the kid network, with a fairly understated and generic version.
President Cyma Zarghami said in a statement: “We wanted to clean it up and allow Nick to be the stamp on all of these channels… In asking ourselves if everything could live under the splat, we decided that the splat was dated.
