The Today show announced the musical acts that will be playing the 2009 Summer Concert Series (or “Toyota Concert Series on TODAY,” to be more exact). No Doubt kicks off the annual concert series on May 1 and other big names like Jennifer Hudson, New Kids on the Block, Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers are also set to appear on the Today show stage.

The Jonas Brothers just keep churning ‘em out – their newest CD will be released June 15. This will be the fourth Jonas Brothers album, titled “Lines, Vines and Trying Times.”
Nick Jonas told Billboard.com: “This album is taking steps. We’re trying to learn as much as we can, continuing to grow. [The album is] our journal in songs [about] all things we’ve gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from. The Jonas Brothers are set to perform at the March 28, 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards, as well as participate in the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Jonas Jam Sweepstakes. The Jonas Brothers are also competing in the Favorite Music Group category.
