Of course his main concern is his children, but he is focusing on his private and his professional life. Wow. So Jon Gosselin’s new girlfriend doesn’t seem like the brightest bulb in the lamp… Kate Major has quit her job as senior reporter at Star Magazine because she’s dating Jon.
Kate Major resigned from the Star magazine gig, with the mag issuing this statement: “Star Senior Reporter Kate Major resigned this morning, Thursday, July 23, citing a conflict of interest between her reporting duties for the magazine and her relationship with Jon Gosselin.”

Oh lordy… we’re williing to bet the rumors of Jon Gosselin being engaged to Hailey Glassman are so false. After all, he said on Jon & Kate Plus 8′s break up episode that he was excited about his prospects post-divorce. We hardly think that his entry into bachelorhood would be so short lived.
Still, In Touch magazine has a cover story about Jon and Hailey being engaged, saying that Jon bought a $180,000 engagement ring and proposed during their recent St. Tropez vacay.
A source tells the magazine, “They all went out to the V.I.P Room nightclub in St. Tropez after dinner. Hailey was flashing her ring around and they were kissing and hugging.”
