Jon Gosselin – Vegas pool party host? File this one under WTF, because Jon Gosselin just got a Vegas gig, hosting a pool party at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic on Saturday, August 29.

Wet Republic released an announcement about Jon Gosselin’s Vegas job opp, saying: “Jon Gosselin, America’s favorite father (Jon and Kate Plus 8), is coming to Las Vegas for a little R&R and will be hosting poolside.”

America’s favorite father? Ugh.

Jon and Kate… and the police? Police were called to Jon and Kate Gosselin’s house Thursday night after the two got in a fight over Kate’s disapproval of the babysitter Jon had hired. Oh, and Kate wasn’t allowed there either.

Regis seems a bit optimistic about Jon and Kate Gosselin’s future, asking if Kate would take Jon back, but looks like that’s not happening, for sure. Kate gives her answer, saying, “I can’t say that I think you’re right, at all.”
