When asked about the best prank he ever pulled, Kimmel said:
“I think the best prank I ever pulled was… I told a guy once that five years from now I’m gonna give you my show. And then when the five years came, I gave it to him, and then took it back almost instantly. It was hilarious.”
And if you’re Team Jay, you probably didn’t think any of Kimmel’s segment was very funny.

Jimmy Fallon finally talks about the whole late night shuffle going on – and it sounds like he’s not taking sides. Fallon comments in this video clip that he’s happy to have a job, but says it’s weird because both Jay Leno and Conan are his friends.
Jimmy Fallon makes it short and sweet, saying he’ll continue to have fun with the show and won’t take anything too seriously.

Looks like David Letterman is having a little fun with this whole Jay Leno/late night shuffle business going on over at NBC. Check out this video of David Letterman proposing some new programming to fill the 10 p.m. vacancy that will be left by Leno – ‘Law & Order: Leno Victims Unit’ starring Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon.
In true comedic fashion, both Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien joked about the future of late night news that Jay Leno’s primetime show has been canceled and an impending shuffle of the NBC late night shows.

Patton Oswalt comments, “You almost want to take [Leno] aside and ask him: Why do you want this so badly? Because you don’t do anything with it. Whereas Conan clearly wants the show because there’s things he’s dying to do with his writing staff… places he wants to take the show … Conan’s way better than he was at 12:30 p.m., so [NBC] keep your hands off.”
No surprises here, but The Jay Leno Show has been canceled, according to NBC Universal TV chairman Jeff Gaspin. But it’s not going away completely – just the primetime version of the show has been axed.
