American Idol’s Jason Castro Lands Atlantic Records Deal

American Idol finalist Jason Castro has finally landed a record deal. Better late than never, I suppose.

Jason Castro has signed with Atlantic Records; he was the third runner-up during last season’s American Idol, and is best remembered for his performances of Hallelujah and Over The Rainbow.

Jason Castro’s debut album is expected to be released later this year.

It was cool to see last season’s finalist Jason Castro at the Kansas City auditions of American Idol 8 to support his brother, Michael Castro. And guess what? Michael Castro can sing, despite saying he just started 20 days before the audition!
