ABC has ordered a cut to their order for the midseason series “In the Motherhood” – only six episodes of the original 13 ordered will air.

Ugly Betty will be taking a break. ABC has put Ugly Betety on hiatus beginning March 26, replacing it with episodes of Samantha Who? and the new comedy In the Motherhood. Does this mean Betty is canceled?

No. An ABC spokesperson commented, “The Thursday night block is a good opportunity to launch these comedies. That said, Betty is a solid performer and there is no question that it will definitely be back to complete its season, just without repeats.” Read the rest of this entry »
