How I Met Your Mother’s Jason Segel is one funny guy – and talented to boot. Check out this video of Jason Segel making a special appearance at a recent Swell Season show in Los Angeles. Love the references to his nude appearance in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Apparently, Jason Segel sang this at a recent Maroon 5 concert too, but this one is getting a lot more buzz.

It’s Neil Patrick Harris as you’ve never seen him before! NPH packs on the pounds when he sports a fat suit for the November 9 episode of How I Met Your Mother, pictured here.

It’s a far cry from Neil Patrick Harris’ usual svelte self… it’ll be interesting to see how the fat suit fits into the plot of the HIMYM episode.

How I Met Your Mother casting news! Funny guy Chris Elliott has been cast as Lily’s dad on HIMYM – he will appear in the November 23 How I Met Your Mother Thanksgiving episode.

Chris Elliott will play Lily’s estranged loser dad – EW.com is reporting that the HIMYM episode will include flashbacks to Lily’s childhood to paint the whole picture of their relationship.

So… Chris Elliott – good casting choice or not?

Rachel Bilson Cast as How I Met Your Mother Mom?

E! Online is reporting that Rachel Bilson may have been cast as the mom on How I Met Your Mother.

While Rachel Bilson is expected to appear on How I Met Your Mother’s 100th episode, it’s unclear if Bilson will be the as-yet-unknown-to-audiences mother in the show’s title or not.

Producers had previously teased that the 100th episode of HIMYM would give more of a glimpse into the future wife/mom of Ted’s kids… and with Bilson attached to a guest role, well that has fans putting two and two together.

Rachel Bilson’s rep tells E! that she is only signed on for one episode though.

Hmmmm….

CBS to Run Embedded Video Ad in Entertainment Weekly/EW (Video)

Entertainment Weekly will be featuring a CBS video ad in their upcoming issue of EW – the first time a video has been embedded in a print ad.

CBS and Pepsi Max are embedding the 40-minute video ad in EW’s September fall TV preview issue. The video ad/commercial will show clips of CBS’s fall schedule on a video device a quarter-inch thick, seen through a cut out in the print ad.

Only EW subscribers in New York and Los Angeles will see the ad.
