Lisa Edelstein Leaving House: Edelstein Quits House Over Salary

Lisa Edelstein leaving House? It’s true! Total shocker, but Lisa Edelstein has decided to leave House, opting to quit the series over salary disputes rather than return for season 8.

Edelstein released this statement:

“After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.”

Edelstein and co-stars Robert Sean Leonard and Omar Epps’ contracts all expired at the end of this season. Leonard and Epps will return, but Edelstein refused to take a cut in salary.

So, no more Huddy? How will Hugh Laurie’s Dr. House handle Dr. Cuddy’s exit?

So many beautiful dresses on the Golden Globes red carpet, but here are our favorites for 2010 Golden Globes best dressed:

First up – Jennifer Garner looked amazing. Her dress was simply perfect. Elegant. Beautiful lines. It’s hard to find any fault with Jennifer’s dress!

Olivia Wilde tops our Golden Globes best dressed list, but then again, when doesn’t Olivia look amazing? Wilde hits another home run with this beautiful, classy dress.

And finally, while a huge dress overall, we loved Glee star Lea Michele’s black dress – the perfect dress to live out a fairy tale moment like the Golden Globes, Lea looks amazing from head to toe.

This is Maxim’s 10th anniversary of the Hot 100 list, which showcases athletes, actresses, reality show stars, models… and even the First Lady.

Maxim editor Joe Levy commented Olivia Wilde taking the #1 slot, saying, “Olivia Wilde has been the sexiest woman on television since she heated up ‘The OC’ five years ago. She’s smart, she’s beautiful, and she has dual citizenship in the US and Ireland — what more can a man ask for?”

Kal Penn Death on House; Kutner’s Suicide – Kal Penn Leaving House for Obama White House Job

Kal Penn’s character’s death on last night’s House came as a shocker – Kutner’s suicide had many asking “Did Kal Penn die?” (or his character, anyway). Fox.com/kutner offered up a Kutner obituary and a memorial.

According to EW.com, Kal Penn asked to be written off of House – he’s heading to the White House to work with President Obama.

Kal Penn originally did volunteer work on the Obama campaign and will now work as the associate director in the White House office of public liaison.

Did you see the Kal Penn/Kutner death coming? Kutner died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
