The Hulk Hogan and Linda Bollea divorce goes on – and now Hulk Hogan is contesting Linda’s custody and alimony claims with a counter-petition. Basically, Hulk says she has the financial means to support herself.
Linda Bollea is seeking alimony and child support, although the exact dollar amount has not been revealed. Bollea is also asking for custody of Nick, who is 17 (and turns 18 in July).
Hulk Hogan believes that Linda Bollea can support herself and Nick, and feels that Nick should choose who he will live with, saying, “it would be in the best interest for the parties to have shared parental responsibility.”
Is Hulk Hogan’s wife’s (Linda Bollea) excessive spending habits to blame for their divorce? According to the New York Post’s Page Six, a spy says, “Linda wanted to move to California. Hulk and the kids were happy in Florida. They’ve been fighting for quite a while, and a lot of it has to do with her out-of- control spending. She just goes nuts and acts like Hulk has Tom Cruise money – when he doesn’t. She wanted to buy a $12 million house in LA, and when Hulk refused, she went ahead and rented a $35,000-a-month house. They already have four to five houses and she wants more?”
I admit it. I used to love to watch “American Gladiators” – and now “American Gladiators” is back and set to air in January. The midseason replacement can be seen on Sunday nights and will be hosted by “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Laila Ali and wrestler and “Hogan Knows Best” star, Hulk Hogan. Catch “American Gladiators” on Sunday nights beginning January 6th on NBC.
Hulk Hogan has issued a statement about his divorce from wife Linda Bollea. And, although it would be nice to hear more of his side of the story, I’m afraid there’s not much to the statement:
“Please respect my family’s privacy at this time with all that we have been through. I care for my wife and my children are my world and I just hope this all works out.”
It’s official – Hulk Hogan’s wife, Linda Bollea, wants half of the more than $9.5 million in assets the couple shares. This includes several homes – the Bel Air mansion, a home in Clearwater Beach, Florida and a condo in Las Vegas. Really, would you expect anything less than half?
According to her divorce filing, Linda Bollea calls the marriage “irretrievably broken. She’s also seeking shared responsibility for their 17-year-old son, Nick. Their daughter, Brooke Hogan, is 19, so child support arrangements are not necessary. Bollea also requests alimony, child support and health insurance from Hulk Hogan.
While a newspaper reported on friday that Hulk Hogan’s Wife, Linda Hogan, had filed for divorce, it seems Hulk was the last to know. Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was informed by a reporter that Pinellas County court records showed Linda Hogan’s divorce paperwork was filed on Tuesday. Read the rest of this entry »
Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea, has had his license suspended for one year and must pay a fine, after officials deemed him a “dangerous driver.” Bollea was arrested November 7th following an August car crash that left his friend, John Graziano, critically injured and in a coma. He was involved in a street race, reportedly driving 106 mph at the time of the crash, and was cited for underage drinking and having illegal window tinting.
Nick “Hogan” Bollea, son of Hulk Hogan and one of the stars of the reality TV show, “Hogan Knows Best” has been arrested on charges of illegal window tinting, third-degree felony reckless driving, a DUI, and underage drinking.
Nick broke an arm, some ribs, and injured his neck and knees. The passenger in his car, 22-year-old marine John Graziano who had recently completed a tour of duty in Iraq, is in a coma, and even if he comes out of it, he will probably need care fro the rest of his life. The Bollea family is supporting the Graziano family and raising awareness about seatbelt safety, as Graziano wasn’t wearing one.
Nick careened off a wet road and hit a tree while driving under the influence at 60mph in a 40mph zone. Even though he’s a 17-year-old minor, Nick is going to be tried as an adult. And he should be. His lawyers are, of course, “confident the evidence will demonstrate that this was an accident.”
Lots of people do things accidentally. Drinking and driving? That’s not an accident. Nick did turn himself in – but seriously Hogan, what have you been teaching him? And is it really best?
