Larry the Cable Guy at a nudist resort? Yes, Larry the Cable Guy added a Florida nudist resort to the list of visits for his History Channel show “Only in America.”

Larry the Cable Guy will visit Caliente Resort, with the show’s website explaining the series as going “totally off the beaten path to find the people, places and things that define this nation’s unique history.”

That apparently includes naked people.

Larry the Cable Guy Dan Whitney will be at the nudist resort on May 17 to film the episode. Will Larry strip down?

Greg Kinnear Cast as JFK, Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy in History Channel Miniseries

Be on the lookout for Greg Kinnear to play President John F. Kennedy/JFK and Katie Holmes to take on Jackie Kennedy in The History Channel’s upcoming mini-series, “The Kennedys.” What do you think of “The Kennedys” casting?

For Greg Kinnear, my love runs deep (hugest fangirl of him on “Talk Soup” back in the day). Katie Holmes? Notsomuch.

“The Kennedys” will also star Barry Pepper as Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and Tom Wilkinson as Joseph “Joe” Kennedy, Sr., Robert and John’s father.

Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of the History Channel, commented, “We could not be more pleased that these incredibly talented actors have agreed to sign onto the miniseries.”

Look for “The Kennedys” to air on The History Channel next year.

Disney Channel Greenlights High School Musical 4 TV Movie

High School Musical fans, rejoice! Not only is High School Musical 3 heading to the big screen, but the Disney Channel has their sights set on a High School Musical 4 television movie. Why stop, right?

Disney Channel Worldwide chief Rich Ross confirmed the news today, saying that High School Musical 4 is already in the works.

Don’t expect all of your favorite HSM cast mates to return for the fourth installment, however. When asked about casting, Ross said, “Are we going to have all the cast back? Probably not. Will we have some of them? I hope so.”

Doomsday 2012: The End of Days; December 21, 2012 End of the World Predicted (Video)

Well this is just plain freaky. The History Channel will air a special called “Decoding the Past, Doomsday 2012: The End of Days,” which will explore the Mayan prophecy that the end of the world will occur on December 21st, 2012.

According to the “Doomsday 2012: The End of Days:”
“The Maya were legendary astronomers and timekeepers — their calendar is more accurate than our own. By tracking the stars and planets they assigned great meaning to astronomical phenomena and made extraordinary predictions based on them — many of which have come true.”

“Decoding the Past, Doomsday 2012: The End of Days” airs on the History Channel Sunday, January 27 at 12 PM.
