Hayden Panettiere gives us the finer points of voting for John McCain in this FunnyorDie.com PSA video – “He’s just like George Bush, except older and with a worse temper… Nobody f—s with John McCain!”

After Alan Panettiere’s (Hayden’s dad) arrest last month, he has now been formerly charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly hitting Hayden’s mom, Lesley on August 11.

The wait is over, Heroes’ fans! Season 3 of Heroes premieres tonight, September 22, beginning at 8 p.m. on NBC with a special Heroes countdown to the premiere event (including behind-the-scenes Heroes goodies and a special party), followed by the first episode of Heroes season 3, titled, “The Second Coming; The Butterfly Effect.”

Sour grapes, NBC? “Scrubs,” which will now air on ABC, shot their series finale last week, featuring a return by past guest stars from the last eight years. EW.com is reporting that Seth Green and Breckin Meyer are likely joining the cast of Heroes this season.

Wow, looks like Heroes star Hayden Panettiere’s dad isn’t such a nice guy. TMZ.com reports that Hayden’s dad, Alan, was arrested this morning on a felony count of domestic violence – the arrest was for allegedly battering his wife, Hayden’s mom (Lesley Panettiere).

The battery took place at 3:00 a.m. Monday morning. Alan Panettiere is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
