Newly christened Miss Universe, Riyo Mori has landed a role on the NBC hit series “Heroes.”
“As soon as I won Miss Universe I had this big chance,” the former Miss Japan . “I’ve never acted before. I went to the casting audition and read a script in English and Japanese, and they said it was really good. So I hope I can be in the show.”
Hayden Panettiere and Adrian Pasdar were with the rest of the cast of Heroes at the NBC Upfronts at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall on Monday. It was officially announced that in addition to the regular 24 episodes for season two, they will also release six “webisodes” of the spin off Heroes: Origins. The webisodes will air when the regular series goes on hiatus.

Eighteen year-old Rumer Willis (Demi and Bruce’s daughter) is rumored to be dating the 30-year-old villian of “Heroes”, Zachary Quinto. Rumer was seen holding hands with Zachary at Boulevard in Los Angeles.
