Heroes Two Hour Finale Movie to Air in 2011

While “Heroes” has been officially canceled, there may be a sliver of hope for fans looking to wrap up the series… NBC president Angela Bromstad says that a two-hour Heroes finale movie may air in 2011.

While this is not yet a sure thing, Bromstad says she’ll talk with Heroes creator Tim Kring about wrapping up the series, most likely in a two-hour movie, versus a miniseries as some had speculated.

Bromstad says, “We have satisfied the viewers’ desire for the show.”

From reading comments online, it looks like few fans have been satisfied with Heroes during the last couple of seasons.

It’s Official: Heroes Cancelled

Heroes has been cancelled… after days of speculation, it’s finally official.

Heroes has been put out of its misery, having been cancelled after its fourth season due to dwindling ratings.

Heroes only averaged 6.5 million viewers this year, and its last airing on February 8 drew only 4.4 million.

Putting that all in perspective, Heroes’ first season averaged 14.5 million!

No word yet on whether a Heroes movie will air to wrap up the story… time will tell.

Has Heroes Been Canceled? Rumors of Heroes Cancellation

Has “Heroes” been canceled? Rumors ramped up yesterday that a Heroes cancellation is all but a done deal, but so far there’s been no official word from NBC.

New York Magazine’s Vulture blog reports that while NBC had initially been expected to renew Heroes for season 5, it now appears that NBC has ordered six new pilots and believes they have more potential than continuing Heroes.

In a nutshell, Vulture reports: “according to agency sources and chatter around Hollywood, Heroes has started looking less like a backup plan and more like a waste of money.”

NBC has yet to comment or make any announcements about the fate of Heroes, but upfront announcements happen on Monday, so stay tuned.

Vulture also reports that perhaps a two- or four-hour movie event could happen to wrap up the series for the dwindling fan base.

Former Heroes Star Adrian Pasdar Arrested for DUI

Former Heroes star Adrian Pasdar was arrested for DUI this morning in LA, according to a report from TMZ.com.

Adrian Pasdar was pulled over for speeding – doing 90 mph on the 405 freeway. The officers smelled alcohol as they approached the car; Pasdar was arrested with bail set at $15,000.

Pasdar refused the breathalyzer test.

Heroes Spoiler? Adrian Pasdar Killed Off Heroes

Buzz about a major character getting killed off Heroes has finally come to a head, as it’s been revealed online in spoilers that Adrian Pasdar’s Nathan Petrelli will be killed off.

Seems Adrian Pasdar didn’t even know he was getting fired – he learned that his character dies in the script. Ouch.

Heroes fans may be pissed about the spoiler, but many aren’t surprised by Adrian Pasdar being killed off – after all, his character already died last season and most expected he’d be gone by season’s end anyway.

Still others are saying Adrian Pasdar may have caught a lucky break, being fired from a show that’s seemingly getting worse with each episode.

Can someone explain this Zachary Quinto WTF viral video making the rounds? Zachary Quinto of Heroes is seen walking his dog (and shortly, falling onto it), accompanied by a guy in a steak suit and a bloodied butcher. All of this madness is captured by paparazzi/on video. Am I missing something?

Sounds like the beginning of a joke: “Quinto, a dog, a butcher and a giant steak are walking down the street…”

Robert Knepper Joining Cast of “Heroes”

Robert Knepper, the villainous Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell from “Prison Break,” is joining the cast of Heroes next season. Naturally, Knepper will play the new lead villain on the NBC series.

Robert Knepper is set to play Samuel, who is “charismatic but evil, with a twisted sense of humor” in at least six Heroes episodes.

Hayden Panettiere Shoved Reporter: “Don’t you ever touch me!”

Huh. Sounds like Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere doesn’t always have the sunny personality you would expect. Over the weekend, Hayden Panettiere shoved a reporter on the red carpet at a fundraising event in Hawaii, saying, “Don’t you ever touch me! Oh, am I supposed to do interviews? You all make my life miserable.”

Someone having an off day?

Hayden Panettiere also reportedly yelled at photographers, telling them to “Back up!”

Panettiere’s “Don’t you ever touch me!” was in response to a reporter asking, “May we talk with you, Hayden?”
