Wanda Sykes’ wife came to the forefront last November when Sykes revealed at a marriage rights rally that she’s gay and married. Her wife Alex gave birth to twins just a few months ago.

Check out Wanda Sykes’ special, “I’ma Be Me” on HBO this Sunday, October 10 at 10 p.m. Sykes will kick off a Saturday night talk show next month on Fox.

HBO’s Bored to Death Renewed for Second Season

HBO’s new series, “Bored to Death,” has been renewed for a second season. Bored to Death, starring Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis, grabbed 4.1 million viewers for the premiere, no doubt enjoying the lead-in from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

In “Bored to Death,” Schwartzman plays a writer-turned-private investigator, taking on a new case in each episode. It’s worth checking out.

I just love seeing Seinfeld’s Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer gracing the cover of Entertainment Weekly again – the Seinfeld cast reunion picture also includes Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, since Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards reunite with David on this season’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

The Seinfeld reunion will begin in episode 3 of Curb Your Enthusiasm, with Seinfeld and the gang appearing over five of the season’s 10 episodes.

While no big Seinfeld reunion plot details have been revealed, Larry David hints that his character “attempts to get [his estranged wife] Cheryl back, and the ‘Seinfeld’ reunion figures prominently in that.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus adds, “It’s the anti-reunion reunion, and I’d like to copyright that.”

Couple on True Blood Engaged – Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Getting Hitched!

The couple on True Blood – engaged! Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who co-star on HBO’s vampire series “True Blood,” have announced they are engaged.

While no details have yet been revealed about the True Blood couple getting engaged, one thing’s for certain – Anna Paquin, 27, and Stephen Moyer, 39, have already played out nude love scenes on the series. So, they’ve got that goin’ on.

Anna Paquin plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse, while Stephen Moyer plays vampire Bill Compton on True Blood.

Paquin won a 1994 Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in The Piano.

Moyer has two children from previous relationships: a son, Billy, born in 2000, and a daughter, Lilac, born in 2002.

Diane Keaton Comes to TV in HBO Comedy

Diane Keaton is trying her luck on the small screen – starring in a half-hour comedy series on HBO.

The as-yet-titled HBO comedy will star Diane Keaton as “a feminist icon who attempts to reignite the movement by starting a sexually explicit magazine for women.”

The role has been compared to a Gloria Steinem-type feminist icon, and Keatono seemed a natural fit.

“True Blood” Beverage Tie-In for HBO Series – Order Now!

A “True Blood” beverage has been cleverly created as a tie-in for the HBO vampire series. Pre-order your True Blood beverage of choice – they’ll be available this September.

The Daily News describes the True Blood beverage: “The blood-orange carbonated drink has a slightly tart and lightly sweet flavor that is sure to taste better than the O negative blood consumed by the show’s fictional vampires.”

The True Blood beverage will be called “Tru Blood”… and, yep… it looks a bit bloody to be sure.

James Costos, vice president of licensing and retail at HBO describes the reason behind marketing the drinkable fake blood: “From its first season, fans have been enamored with the show and have expressed a keen interest in the Tru Blood beverage. We’re extremely excited to be able to bring this original drink to life.”

The True Blood “synthetic blood nourishment beverage” comes in blood types such as A, B, AB, and O.

Matt Damon to Make Cameo on Entourage Finale

Matt Damon has been confirmed in a cameo role on the season finale of HBO’s Entourage. Executive producer Doug Ellin says, “Lebron (James) and Matt (Damon) have a scene together and they just kill it!”

Ellin continues, “It wasn’t hard to get him. Matt came on the phone with me and wanted to do something that focused on his charity, One By One, which helps kids all over the world.”

Look for David Schwimmer as an Entourage guest star on the August 2 episode.
