Mary-Kate Olsen will be appearing on a television show for the first time in five years. She’s about to appear on the Showtime series Weeds, an excellent comedy about a pot-dealing mom. Mary-Kate will be a love interest for Mary Louise Parker’s character’s son. The Olsen twin will be in ten of 15 episodes in the third season.

Isaiah Washington’s public service announcement on “The Power of Words” will debut between double doses of “Grey’s Anatomy” repeats on Thursday.

Celebrity snitches are dishing that Isaiah Washington’s future at Grey’s Anatomy may be bleek. Read the rest of this entry »
When Access Hollywood asked T.R. Knight if he will be back for his role of George on Grey’s Anatomy even he didn’t know the answer. In fact, he said:
“I literally don’t know. It would be nice to know if I’m supposed to report back soon.”
The concern is based on the fact that George failed his intern test at the end of the season, something which spells disaster for the character. Time will tell!
As for his co-star, Isaiah Washington who sparked a firestorm with his anti-gay remarks, his future is still unclear too. No contract has been signed yet, though his rep says there’s no reason not to expect one before the season begins. Meanwhile he’s keeping busy filming an independent movie, The Least of These.
Kate Walsh of Grey’s Anatomy was out and about in LA on Saturday with new fiance Alex Young. The mushy couple was out house hunting together. After viewing open houses, they headed to a local street art show.
Katherine Heigl put aside her Grey’s Anatomy scrubs to promote her new movie Knocked Up. She gave an interview to USA Today and said that she’s never had a real pregnancy scare and that she’d like to adopt someday.
She also talked about being disgusted by co-star Isaiah Washington calling TR Knight slurs and that she doesn’t understand homophobia. She said this about the stand she took at the time:
“I was ultimately grateful that it opened up a dialogue. To me, I wasn’t making a political stand. I was making a stand about hurting people’s feelings. It’s very simple in my mind. You do not actively seek to hurt other people’s feelings. I don’t care what their sexual orientation, race or gender. You don’t do that. We are all human beings, part of the human race, and we need to be compassionate and giving and kind with one another. Enough with the Michael Richards. Enough with the Mel Gibson. Enough with this. It’s disgusting. The world is still very bigoted. Go see Borat. I didn’t laugh during that movie. I cried. I was horrified.”
T.R. Knight, who play George on Grey’s Anatomy, knows the difficulties of coming out about being gay, especially after the homophobic confrontation by co-star Isaiah Washington. He had this to say about coming out:
“I remember saying to someone when I got one of those ‘don’t do it’ [comments] – I just remember hearing my voice being calm and saying, ‘No, it’s going happen. It’s going to happen. I’m just letting you know.’”
