ABC Cancels Adam Lambert Good Morning America Peformance; Cancelled Following AMAs

PerezHilton.com is reporting that Adam Lambert’s Good Morning America performance has been canceled. Adam Lambert was to sing on GMA tomorrow, November 25.

No doubt, Adam Lambert’s racy American Music Awards/AMAs performance helped ABC make the decision to cancel his GMA gig.

A spokesperson for ABC commented on the cancellation, saying, “Given his controversial American Music Awards performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”

Rihanna interviews this week – Good Morning America and 20/20 Rihanna interviews air November 5 and 6, with Rihanna is ready to tell about how Chris Brown beat her after a fight in February.

These are Rihanna’s first interviews since the incident. The first part of the interview will be shown on Good Morning America on November 5, followed by a special 20/20 to air on November 6.

Rihanna’s new album, Rated R, comes out this month.

Rihanna tells Diane Sawyer in the interview that Chris Brown was “definitely my first big love.”

About the beating, Rihanna says, “This happened to me … it can happen to anyone.”

As for the photo of a beaten Rihanna that made the rounds, she shares: “That is not a photo you would show to anybody. I felt completely taken advantage of . . . like people were making it into a fun topic . . . and it’s my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women.”

Urgh. I’m not sure Jon Gosselin is doing anything to further his cause in the public eye – check out this video snippet from his Good Morning America/GMA interview, where he comments that he despises his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kate Gosselin.

Jon Gosselin says in the GMA interview: “We film it separately. She has her film crew. And I have my film crew. But I can’t sit on the sofa with that woman. I can’t sit on someone right now that I despise.”

Jon Gosselin is laying it all out there in an interview with GMA, telling all about how he “took a lot of abuse” from Kate Gosselin during their 10 year marriage.

Gosselin says in the interview, airing September 8 on GMA, “I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put dow. She’ll call me like, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn’t going anywhere.”

Gosselin continues, “Well, excuse me, I’m taking care of the kids. She’s on book tours, she’s doing all these things. You know, she’s gone a week. You know, comes back. Packs up and leaves again. I’m standing there like, ‘Oh, OK. Your mom’s gone again.’”
