In the UK magazine Heat, Ricky Gervais writes, “The ratings went up again, and the organisers asked me to consider a third year. (But) I don’t think I should. I don’t know what I could do better. I certainly couldn’t get more press for them, that’s for sure.”

Gervais added, “I did exactly what I went to do: improve on last year’s and have a laugh. The response was staggering. It was discussed on every news channel and chat show for weeks. The weird thing is, the question is always, ‘Did Ricky go too far?’ And the answer is always, ‘No.’ I have yet to find anyone who was actually offended by it.”

My love for Ricky runs deep and another go at hosting the Golden Globes would make many of his fans happy, no doubt.

And coolest thing, the Anne Hathaway deal went down at the Golden Globes last night!

E! Online reports that Anne Hathaway will play Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) lesbian aunt.

Hathaway had said during a Jimmy Fallon interview last fall that she was interested in getting on Glee.

Murphy says, “She walked by our table. We have a mutual friend and I said, ‘Do you really want to do it?’ And she said, ‘I do.’ And I said, ‘OK, we’re gonna do it.’”

Julianne Moore tops our 2011 Golden Globes worst dressed list for that out of control sleeve poof. I love Julianne, but her sleeve looks like it’s crawling up her arm and about to eat her face. No?

Next up for the worst dressed list – Leighton Meester, who seemed intent on covering almost her entire body, save for a slit that showed off a little leg. It all seems wrong for someone so young and the fabric looks like my microfiber couch (I have to imagine it showed much better in person).

January Jones rounds out our Golden Globes 2011 worst dressed list – I really wish she’d just wear something pretty and stop trying to push the envelope. Dominatrix up top and uber fringe on the bottom… I just wasn’t feeling it, though I know she’ll make many best dressed lists for her unique approach.

Also, it goes without saying that Helena Bonham Carter will be on everyone’s Golden Globes worst dressed list, with her kooky frock and mismatched shoes… but it’s too obvious, plus, we kind of like the eccentric Ms. Bonham Carter!

Olivia Wilde makes the top of our Golden Globe Awards 2011 best dressed list, with a stunningly glittery dress that was also about the biggest dress on the red carpet. We’ll forgive the plain hair because the dress is so amazing.

Natalie Portman looked oh-so-pretty in pink, with beautiful draping to show offer her growing baby bump. The rose embellishment seemed to suit her just right and Portman paired the perfect up-do to complete the look.

Eva Longoria did the little black dress perfectly – another case of showing off the right curves, Longoria’s dress was the perfect choice.
