There’s a long wait ahead for Rescue Me fans – but FX has a solution to keep everyone sorta happy during their 19 months (!) off the air – “minisodes,” or five-minute Rescue Me segments that will air Tuesdays at 10 ET/PT beginning June 24.

Another film heavy hitter is joining Glenn Close on FX’s “Damages.” Oscar winner William Hurt will play a new client of Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) – and although no further details have been released, rumor has it that William Hurt’s character will have both a professional and personal past with Patty.

The once controversial “Nip/Tuck” has been losing steam as of late. Case in point — Tuesday night’s season five finale drew just under 3 million viewers. That’s the least-watched finale in the show’s history.
