DirecTV offers up this interesting promo video for the upcoming season 4 of Friday Night Lights, premiering October 28 at 9 p.m. on 101 Network.

Of course, if you don’t have DirecTV, you need to wait until next summer to get your Friday Night Lights fix when it airs on NBC.

As we reported earlier this month, there were rumblings that NBC would renew Friday Night Lights for multiple seasons. That news has been confirmed – FNL has been renewed for two more 13-episode runs, so the series will continue at least through the 2010-11 season. Read the rest of this entry »

Entertainment Weekly reports that NBC is in talks with DirecTV to extend Friday Night Lights for a two season pickup. If all goes well, Friday Night Lights would be renewed for two seasons!
