Christina Hendricks’ Emmys Dress: Was Hendricks’ Lavender Dress a Hit or Miss? (Pic)

Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks wowed in her lavendar Emmys dress, but was the dress, which featured feathery accents, a hit or a miss?

Christina Hendricks definitely chose a gown for the Emmys that accentuates her curves (especially her va-va-va-voom chest!), but we’re not calling the dress a hit.

The shape of the Zac Posen gown was beautiful and the pleating divine…. heck, we don’t even have an issue with the feathers.

Christina Hendricks’ dress didn’t make the cut for our Emmys best dressed list because of that washed out color. She’s such a gorgeous red-head, with beautiful porcelain skin – and the dress color is just sort of “meh.”

The Emmys 2010 best dressed list is here! Look at our picks for the Emmy Awards red carpet hits in these pictures:

Glee’s Lea Michele is topping a lot of Emmys 2010 best dressed lists, and ours is no exception. Lea hasn’t missed yet at an awards show, and this may be her very best pick – a beautiful navy ruffled Oscar de la Renta gown, with flowing hair and pitch perfect makeup.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is always a hit, as far as we’re concerned, but we love this simple black dress, with a little embellishment at the top, and the flowing shape… Julia’s looking terrific!

While we’re usually not the biggest Kim Kardashian fans, you can’t deny that she looked gorgeous in the greek goddess inspired gown. We love the detailing at the neckline, the white against her skintone and that fabulous updo!

There’s a lot going on with Nina Dobrev’s Emmy gown, but it all just works, doesn’t it? The color of her dress, the cut, her hair/makeup/jewelry – Nina is all-around stunning.

Claire Danes is nothing but sparkles in this magnificent gown, which seemed to capture the light on the red carpet and make Claire look even more radiant than usual.

Emmys 2010 Worst Dressed Pictures: Emmy Awards Fashion Disasters January Jones, Anna Paquin, Lauren Graham

Is it just us or were there more Emmy Awards fashion disasters than usual this year? Check out our rundown for Emmys 2010 worst dressed in these pictures. Do you think these ladies missed the mark at the Emmys, or are we being too harsh?

First up, check out Mad Men’s January Jones in the picture above and tell us that doesn’t scream at the top of a million Emmys 2010 worst dressed lists? We think she’s trying to be bold and risky, but the kooky shell cup bra, the shiny blue color and the asymmetrical hemline have us wishing she had played it a little more conservative.

Anna Paquin’s Emmy dress is shouting “Toro!” as she channels her inner matador with this Alexander McQueen design that is oh-so-wrong for anyone at an awards show event.

Glee’s Dianna Agron is all dolled up in grandma’s doilies! She’s so young and gorgeous – why didn’t she choose a dress to reflect that? This just comes off as a bit dowdy.

30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden is sporting a prom frock, or so it seems – the color, the layers of ruffles… we would have loved to see her in something young and flirty instead.

Oh, Lauren Graham, we so wish you didn’t make our Emmys 2010 worst dressed list, but your dress was a straight up fashion disaster. We’re not sure what we hate more – the up-to-there slit or the wonky poofy draping at the top.
