Ellen DeGeneres interviewed “The Bachelor” star Brad Womack on her show on Friday and he set the record straight, while Ellen apologized for calling Brad Womack a jerk earlier in the week.
Brad Womack comes off as a pretty stand-up guy, despite disappointing fans of “The Bachelor.” He told Ellen, “I believe in the fairy tale romance. I am so disappointed that it didn’t happen to me.”

Sure, Ellen DeGeneres has been getting a lot of flak for continuing her daytime chatfest during the writers’ strike, but that’s not got going to stop her from hosting the “Really Big Show” on TBS. If you haven’t heard about it, “Really Big Show” harkens back to those old variety shows, where it’s non-stop (if not always exciting) entertainment. Case in point, if you tune in, you’ll see jump roping and a woman who switches her outfit in a few seconds. Oh, yeah, and Lyle Lovett, Barry Manilow and Sheryl Crow will perform, as well as acrobats and magician Lance Burton. The nature of a variety show, I suppose — something for everyone.
After the excitement of Poochgate and the distinguished title of “scab” when she continued to tape her talk show, Ellen DeGeneres has found something to be happy about again. DeGeneres has just sealed two real estate deals. First, someone plunked down the dough for her $24 million, four-acre estate in Santa Barbara. In turn, DeGeneres has snagged a new home in Beverly Hills, which was previously owned by “Will & Grace” co-creator Max Mutchnick.
