After last month’s press conference where Donald Trump proudly announced that Miss California Carrie Prejean would keep her crown following racy pics that may have violated her contract… today we learn that Carrie Prejean has been fired!
Donald Trump held a press conference this morning to talk about the decision of whether Carrie Prejean will keep her crown and title. Trump said the final decision is that Carrie Prejean will remain Miss California and he believes she’ll do a fantastic job.
Trump also spoke about her controversial gay marriage answer at the Miss USA pageant, and how the organization reviewed her pictures and determined that they are fine. Trump called attention to being in the 21st century and the pictures, while racy, are acceptable, fine… and ultimately, modeling pictures.

Turns out Celebrity Apprentice isn’t such a dud after all – NBC has renewed the celeb version of the reality show for another season. Celebrity Apprentice will return in spring 2010.
Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios said, “‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ is the ultimate business and reality show at the top of its game and has exploded in popularity this season while also raising an impressive amount of money for charity. It’s a valuable franchise and proven competitor and we’re thrilled to have Mr. Trump and Mr. Burnett back to create another brilliant season.”
Last night on Celebrity Apprentice, the shit hit the fan when Melissa Rivers was fired. Check out the video clip – Melissa Rivers stormed out in a snit and refused to be interviewed… and then mama Joan Rivers grabbed her stuff and left too. But first, she gives Brande Roderick and Annie Duke a tongue lashing, calling poker players trash and calling Annie a nazi, telling Brande she won’t win.
