Everyone’s favorite TV bounty hunter is returning to the small screen this summer! Dog the Bounty Hunter (Duane “Dog” Chapman) will return to A&E, following a return of reruns on June 25. New episodes of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” should start soon thereafter.
Dog the Bounty Hunter had a bumpy ride last fall, when a taped phone conversation leaked — Duane “Dog” Chapman using racial slurs about his son’s African-American girlfriend. Dog the Bounty Hunter was pulled from the A&E schedule.

Looks like A&E can’t deny Dog the Bounty Hunter’s great ratings and faithful fans… even if Duane “Dog” Chapman went on a (recorded) racist rant.
A&E is ready to take Duane Chapman back — and will begin filming new episodes of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” in Hawaii very soon. Read the rest of this entry »

Duane “Dog” Chapman, who recently apologized for his racial slur during a recorded phone call to his son, was seen at a Los Angeles toy drive on Saturday. The toy drive was sponsored by a black advocacy group, but Duane “Dog” Chapman was on hand to give out toys and signed copies of his book.
The Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, which ran the toy drive, were willing to give the bounty hunter a second chance. Founder, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson said, “We don’t condone racial slurs, but upon hearing Dog’s apology and after meeting with him and his family, we don’t believe he’s a racist. We also believe that Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman sincerely wants to make amends to the black community, and deserves a second chance.”

After Duane “Dog” Chapman’s recorded phone call of racial slurs was released, let’s just say things took a downward turn. He’s issued a public apology, but A&E is still not airing “Dog the Bounty Hunter.” Duane’s son, Tucker, was the one who allegedly leaked the recording and Dog’s wife is none-too-thrilled.
A source reportedly told the National Enquirer, “(Duane’s family is) vowing to do everything they can to get even with Tucker, because they believe he released the tapes. Their whole world is falling apart around them, and now all they want is revenge.” Dog’s wife, Beth, particularly wants revenge on her stepson. The source for the Enquirer said Beth screamed, “I don’t care if I lose every dime I have and have to eat out of garbage cans, I will have revenge!” Of course, this is coming from the National Enquirer, so take it with a large grain of salt.

Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman will swing by Larry King Live on Wednesday night. It is the latest pit stop on his Gravy Train of Shame. Check out what Dog had to say in his sit-down with Fox News on Tuesday night.
