Mythbusters
Fans of the Discovery Channel series will be pleased to hear that the sixth season of “Mythbusters” will premiere on January 16 at 9 PM (ET).

If you’ve never caught the series, it’s certainly worth a look now that new programming is becoming a thing of the past with the writers’ strike. On “Mythbusters,” Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage (two special effects guys) and their scientific helpers, known as the “Build Team,” look to debunk urban legends through experimentation.
