Ken Ober, best known as the host of MTV’s Remote Control, died on Sunday, reportedly found in his apartment. The cause of death is not yet known, but Mark Measures, an agent at Abrams Artists who worked with him, confirmed the sad news.

Other sources are reporting that Ken Ober’s reps have confirmed his death.

More recently, Ken Ober worked as a writer and producer on Comedy Central’s “Mind of Mencia,” as well as working as a consulting producer on “The New Adventures of Old Christine” in 2006.

Is Ken Ober dead? Or just the victim of the latest death hoax? Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Zach Braff have all been victim of this recently, but so far, no confirmation on whether the Ken Ober dead/death rumor is true or not.

RadarOnline posted Farrah Fawcett’s will, last updated in August 2007. Fawcett left $4.5 million to her son Redmond, $100,000 to ex-lover Greg Lott (she dated him in the 60s), $500,000 to her nephew Greg Walls and $500,000 to her father James.

Farrah Fawcett died on June 25 of this year.

There’s no disputing that people have to get hurt on Wipeout – how could they not? But the Wipeout contestant death is causing people to wonder whether the show will be shut down completely or continue on.

Tom Sparks, a 33-year-old former TV host from California, died on October 19 of an apparent stroke. Sparks was competing in a third season taping of Wipeout.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office is investigating the cause of death, however his doctors believe the stroke was triggered by a pre-existing disease that causes unnatural blood clotting.

The coroner’s office told CNN: “There’s nothing we can confirm until we look at everything. We don’t want to jump to any conclusions yet.”

The wipeout death happened after the contestant complained of knee pain while running part of the obstacle course challenge.

He was tended to by medics and taken to a nearby hospital, before being transferred later to Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, California.

ABC issued this statement: “We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family. This is a tragic loss and our thoughts are with them at this time.”

Soupy Sales kicked off his TV career in 1953, hosting “Lunch with Soupy,” which featured a variety of characters that Sales created. He moved into a late-night variety show “Soupy’s On,” in the 1950s in Detroit before moving on to national children’s shows.

Soupy was also a regular panelist on the game show What’s My Line?

Soupy Sales’ slapstick style made him famous for taking pies to the face, which was once estimated to be 20,000 pies!

Captain Lou Albano was a huge presence in the pro wrestling biz in the 1980s before becoming a manager… and of course, Albano played Cyndi Lauper’s father in the “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” music video.

The fake CNN.com page displayed the headline “Beloved Scrubs actor found dead in his home.”

An ABC spokesperson confirmed that Zach Braff is not dead.

A long loved comedian has taken his own life.

Zach Braff is most known for his role as “JD” in the television series “Scrubs”, and his award winning role in the movie “Garden State”.

The autopsy results found “acute intoxication” as the cause of death, based on the many drugs in his system.

Another sad death to report – Laugh-In legend Henry Gibson has died at age 73, following a brief battle with cancer.

Henry Gibson was an orginal cast member on Laugh-In, as well as most recently a fixture on Boston Legal and appeared in scores of movies. Gibson died Monday in his Malibu home.

Gibson’s big break was on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, where he played numerous characters for three years – who could forget him reading a poem, flower in hand, each week?

Gibson also appeared on “Love, American Style,” in Robert Altman’s “Nashville,” as well as in “The Blues Brothers, “The Burbs,” “Magnolia” and “Wedding Crashers.”
