Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel was rushed to the hospital yesterday due to chest pains. While rumors were rampant that Mandel suffered a heart attack, he was in fact treated for an irregular heartbeat.
Howie Mandel’s rep confirmed, “Doctors expect him to be released and back to work [Tuesday]. He did not have a heart attack.”
Finally, someone on Deal or No Deal gets a stinkin’ $1 million briefcase! Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel will finally get to award a contestant with the $1 million prize on Monday, September 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

President George W. Bush will appear on tonight’s (April 21) “Deal or No Deal” to wish an Iraqi war veteran contestant luck and thank him for his service.

Since hosting “Deal or No Deal,” Howie Mandel is definitely back on his game! For awhile there, he sort of faded from the spotlight, but looks like the game show host is now in hot demand for his own sitcom.
And not just any old scripted sitcom — Howie Mandel will executive produce and star in a new unscripted NBC show that will capitalize on his improv abilities. Howie Mandel even gets his name in the show’s title: “Howie Do It.”
NBC has officially announced their 2008/2009 schedule. New shows include My Own Worst Enemy, Kath & Kim, starring Molly Shannon and Selma Blair, Knight Rider (for real – they picked up the series following the success of the February movie!), Crusoe, The Philanthropist, Merlin and Kings.

Did you catch Adrianne Curry’s birthday gift for new husband Christopher Knight on “My Fair Brady… Maybe Baby?” Her intent was to fulfill every guy’s fantasy and do some classy nude photos, some of which included her pal (one of the “Deal or No Deal” girls) in some suggestive lesbian shots. Christopher Knight didn’t take it too well though.
