David Letterman apologized to his wife, Regina Lasko, during today’s taping of Late Show, according to an audience member.

A little more on the David Letterman sex scandal… a former intern is now claiming that she had a secret affair with Letterman. Who woulda thought Dave could be in such hot demand?

Holly Hester tells TMZ.com: “I was madly in love with him at the time. I would have married him. He was hilarious.”

Holly Hester claims that David Letterman asked her on a date to the movies in the early ’90s and so began their affair, which later ended, she says, because of their age difference.

New reports are also being made that David Letterman had a secret bedroom above the set of his show at the Ed Sullivan Theater.
