It seemed like David Archuleta was out of his comfort zone tonight — he sang “We Can Work it Out” by The Beatles in this March 11 American Idol top 12 video clip. I felt so bad that he forgot some of the lyrics.

Randy said it wasn’t on point, very forced; Paula said it wasn’t his best week, but he’s a frontrunner; Simon said that was a mess and all over the place, was his weakest performance.

Randy said it was a nice arrangement, started rough, but it was alright; Paula said she’s a very good singer, midway through she found her zone and sounded great from middle to end; Simon thought it was a great choice of song, but thought she looked very nervous.
