Cristian de la Fuente and Cheryl Burke were safe on tonight’s April 29 Dancing with the Stars results show — and the pair will continue with the competition, despite Cristian de la Fuente’s ruptured tendon injury.

Cristian de la Fuente explained that he ruptured a tendon in his bicep and had an MRI that determined he’ll need surgery. The doctor will delay the surgery so Cristian de la Fuente and Cheryl Burke can continue with the Dancing with the Stars competition.

So, the latest Dancing with the Stars couple to split is Mario Lopez and dance pro Karina Smirnoff — People is announcing the couple’s breakup. Could Karina be clearing her dance card for TV partner Mario?
