OK, this one is just a rumor, but the buzz is that Lance Bass will join the next season of Dancing with the Stars. The other buzz? That Lance Bass will be paired with a male dance partner.
Of course, there’s been no confirmation from the folks at ABC or the Dancing with the Stars show.

Cybill Shepherd talked to Extra yesterday about possibly joining the next season of Dancing with the Stars. Apparently, she’s been asked to join the series, though nothing has been confirmed.
Cybill Shepherd commented, “I love ballroom dancing…I’ve been offered Dancing With the Stars. I’d love to do it. I’m sure I could do it. It’s just a really hard training period and I just haven’t had time to devote to that.”

Looks like American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe isn’t big on Paula Abdul joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars as a contestant. Lythgoe isn’t giving Paula Abdul up for anything, according to his interview with In Touch Weekly.
Nigel Lythgoe told In Touch, “As far as I’m concerned, Paula [Abdul] is American Idol and our judge. It’s like asking [fellow judge Simon Cowell] to sing. Why would I want that? It chips away at you.” Read the rest of this entry »
