Karina Smirnoff Loves Her New Nose

“Dancing with the Stars” Karina Smirnoff is breathing better since her nose job. She was out and about Tuesday night, showing off her new nose. She apparently had the rhinoplasty to correct breathing issues that resulted from multiple breaks. With her new look, the confident Smirnoff told “Extra, “It’s the new me, and I’m loving it!”
Marie Osmond’s Son in Rehab

It’s not all rosy being an Osmond. Marie Osmond broke the news Wednesday that her 16-year-old son is in a rehab facility. The reason has not been revealed, but Osmond said in a statement:
“My son, Michael, is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother I couldn’t be more proud of him. The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time.”
Marie Osmond’s father recently passed away, but she continued performing on “Dancing with the Stars” and is now poised to perform in the semi-finals next week.
Kevin Connolly Goes Ring Shopping for Julianne Hough

How cute are these two? “Entourage” star Kevin Connolly and “Dancing with the Stars” pro Julianne Hough could possibly be the most adorable pairing of television celebs. Connolly just dropped a bunch of dough on a diamond and 18-karat, white-gold ring for Hough, which she wore on Monday’s performance show. According to Hough’s rep, however, the two are “just friends” and “not dating.” Mmmhmm. Sure.
Cameron Mathison Eliminated From “Dancing with the Stars”

It’s over for the soap opera hottie – Cameron Mathison was eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” last night. It hasn’t been easy for Mathison, who spent his time between Los Angeles and New York to compete in “Dancing with the Stars” and continue work on “All My Children” (in New York). His hard work paid off in his improvement over the season, but it wasn’t enough to keep him in the contest.
Following Mathison’s elimination, host Tom Bergeron commented, “In five seasons, no one has traveled as much, or has had as much on their plate, as you have.”

Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas Return to “Dancing with the Stars”

Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas are making a return to “Dancing with the Stars,” even though they were recently voted off of the competition. Now that the couple is more than just dance partners – they recently made their off-screen relationship public – seems fans are even more smitten with the pair.
Sabrina and Mark were the sixth couple booted from the competition, but “Dancing with the Stars” wants them back for at least one more performance in the next two weeks. Ballas told The New York Post, “We’re probably going to do a demonstration dance on one of the results shows.”
“Dance Machine” Comes to ABC

“Dance Machine” is yet another dance competition show coming to ABC. And who can blame ‘em? With the uber-successful “Dancing with the Stars,” it’s a no-brainer to introduce yet another dance-off to the schedule. “Dance Machine” doesn’t include celebs or semi-professionals – just regular people who love to dance (kind of like “American Idol,” but for aspiring dancers). Five episodes of the series will air in 2008.
Laila Ali to Co-Host “American Gladiators”

Boxer and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Laila Ali will soon be taking on hosting duties for “American Gladiators.” “Gladiators” first aired in 1989 and was on the air through 1997 – a sort of battle of the strongest with competitors going through a variety of challenges against the “Gladiator” cast members.
“American Gladiators” is getting a second chance on the air with Laila Ali and wrestler Hulk Hogan serving as hosts. NBC alternative-programming chief Craig Plestis said of Ali, “Her fierceness in the ring is matched only by her charisma and authenticity. There is no competitor — male or female — who she can not relate to on a personal and competitive level.” The show is expected to air mid-season.
