After winning, J.R. Martinez said, “First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who voted for us for 10 weeks. Thank you, America, for believing in us.”

He told Karina, “You are amazing, and I’m so grateful I was able to be a part of your first mirror-ball trophy.”

If yes, it’ll be the third win for dance pro Cheryl Brooke… Rob and Cheryl earned a perfect score from the judges.

What do you know? There is a talented Kardashian in the bunch!

And Maks wasn’t having any of it.

Len defended his judging decision saying, “I’ve been in this business for nearly 50 years.”

Maks’ response? “Maybe it’s time to go.”

Ouch.

Then Carrie Ann called Maks on being disrespectful and Maks responded, “Everybody on that balcony has been dying and killing themselves only to hear your guy’s a little judgmental comments [sic]. … I am not being disrespectful, I’m protecting my partner.”

Maks then carried his cockiness backstage, touting, “With all due respect, this is my show. I helped make it what it is. I love every aspect of it. I love every professional that has ever been here, and I love every celebrity that puts effort into it every week. Having said that, I’m a little tired that we are being judged, some on effort and some, being picked on (for) our heel leads.”

The Houghs’ jive was a beautiful thing… but here’s the craziest part – Derek performed with an injury.

Derek Hough confirmed with E! Online after DWTS that he dislocated his shoulder, noting, “This week it was bothering me a little bit. I had pain in my neck and I was overcompensating and it went into my shoulder.”

Hough assures it won’t keep him from the DWTS competition, noting, “I’ll be fine. It happens in dancing. You move on.”

Chaz was seen in a Rocky-esque training montage prior to his dance, getting a little help with the one and only Richard Simmons! Love. It.

Bono’s mom, Cher, was in the audience to cheer him on and it seems she was a bit more emotional than she thought, as she tweeted: “OMG! I WAS CRYING! I WASN’T EXPECTING 2 B SO NERVOUS! BROKE MY BRACELET CLAPPING! IM SO PROUD.”

Grace told People.com: “There’s a lot of rumors running rampant that I had a wardrobe malfunction. I did not.”

Nancy added, “There was a little tiny movement, but it did not equate to a wardrobe malfunction. I would be mortified.”

Cameras appeared to cut away from Nancy Grace to avoid an on air nip slip, but it looks like some slippage did air.

Nancy Grace tells TMZ, “When I got dressed, I was wearing Petals (nipple covers) and an industrial strength bra … my dancing dress also had a bra sewn into it.”

Nancy added, “I have been judged guilty without a trial … I will go to my grave denying the nip slip.”

Chaz Bono is the first transgender contestant on Dancing with the Stars and, while he has said he has no political agenda on the show, he definitely will raise awareness and hopefully any controversy surrounding his participation on DWTS will simmer down.

I love that they paired Chaz with pro Lacey Schwimmer – I think they’ll have a good time and go far in the competition.

Len summed it up well: “You really came out with the right attitude. You came out to enjoy yourself, and that’s what I felt you did. You’re so joyous out here. Great debut, Chaz. You should be proud.”

Chaz’s mom, Cher, has spoken out in his defense on Twitter.

Some are calling for a boycott of DWTS, saying that ABC is pushing the LGBT agenda by having Chaz on board.

Chaz, however, says he’s only going to be dancing and isn’t looking to push anything.
