And then Helgenberger dished on Bieber… “I shouldn’t be saying this, but he was kind of a brat.”

Helgenberger clarified by saying, “he was very nice to me…. but he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.”

Looks like Justin Bieber’s death is a done deal – his character, Jason McCann, I mean – according to CSI co-star George Eads.

Justin Bieber’s CSI episode (his second) is set to air in February and Eads reveals, “He’s a cool kid. He’s in the eye of a hurricane and I think he handles himself really well … We had a lot of intense scenes together. We got along really well. I really respect the kid.”

As for that whole killing off Bieber’s character thing, Eads shares, “One of my crew guys goes, ‘Man you’re going to split the country down the middle — half of them are going to hate you and half of them are going to love you.’ In the context of the story, he deserved it. I think in a way I was also at fault for killing Taylor Swift, too. Man, I’m going to have to stay away from a lot of people. Tell Miley Cyrus not to come on our show.”

Justin Bieber started to have breathing trouble while on the set of CSI, where he’s filming a guest role.

The breathing issues were caused by an allergic reaction, with his rep noting: “He is fine. He had a mild allergic reaction while they were wrapping up last night on the set of ‘CSI.’ His doctor met him at the hospital to make sure everything was OK. He was released within the hour after his doctor declared him fine. He is back on set working today. All is well.”

Look for Justin Bieber to appear on the CSI episode titled “Targets of Obsession” to air on February 17.

It seems there are mixed reactions over Melina Kanakaredes leaving CSI: NY, but here’s something that may bring some cheer – Sela Ward is in talks to replace Melina.

CBS issued a statement about Melina Kanakaredes leaving CSI: NY… “We hoped Melina would return to CSI: NY for another season, but we respect her decision to move on. Her amazing talent and invaluable contribution to the success of the series are greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. She will forever remain a friend to the network and studio and we wish her the very best.”

Kanakaredes issued a statement as well: “I made some amazing and lifelong friendships during my six seasons on CSI: NY, and I will treasure them forever.”
