Janeane Garofalo Joining Cast of Criminal Minds Spinoff “Suspect Behavior”

Just the other day, I was thinking about what actress/comedian Janeane Garofalo was up to… now comes word that Garofalo may join the cast of a Criminal Minds spin-off.

EW.com’s Ausiello Files is reporting the casting news about Janeane Garofalo in the Criminal Minds spinoff, “Suspect Behavior.”

And wow, is the hatred ever flowing over there in the EW.com comments section… people either despise Janeane or hate entirely the idea of a Criminal Minds spinoff.

Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior” will star Forest Whitaker as the head of a team of FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit agents.

What do you think? Personally, I’d like to see Janeane Garofalo return to her comedy roots.

Criminal Minds Star Shemar Moore Breaks Leg in Bike Accident

Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore was riding his bike in LA on Saturday when he was hit by a car. Shemar Moore was rushed to the hospital and treated for a broken leg, but is back at home and recovering from the accident.

No further details were given about the biking accident.

Shemar Moore = Sexy FBI Agent

In their annual Sexiest Man Alive issue, People Magazine declared something that Criminal Minds fans have known for years – Shemar Moore is sexy. Um, duh?

Shemar came in at number ten, although I have to say, after watching his character, Agent Derek Morgan, kick down door after door on the show, he should definitely be higher on the list!

Criminal Minds official replacement

Despite last week’s rumours of Harvey Keitel taking on a new role on Criminal Minds, it has been officially announced that the replacement for Mandy Patinkin will actually be Joe Mantegna. The actor will not actually be replacing Patinkin in that role, but will play a new character to fill the empty slot in the FBI team. No word has been released yet as to the reason for Mandy Patinkin’s departure and lips are still sealed as to how they will write the character of Jason Gideon out of the show.

Executives for Criminal Minds have been scrambling to find someone to take on a new role on the show ever since Mandy Patinkin abruptly bowed out of the show just as filming for the new season began. Harvey Keitel is the newest actor to be in talks for taking on a replacement role. I can totally picture him as a behavioural analyst with the FBI!
