Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore was riding his bike in LA on Saturday when he was hit by a car. Shemar Moore was rushed to the hospital and treated for a broken leg, but is back at home and recovering from the accident.

No further details were given about the biking accident.

Shemar came in at number ten, although I have to say, after watching his character, Agent Derek Morgan, kick down door after door on the show, he should definitely be higher on the list!

Despite last week’s rumours of Harvey Keitel taking on a new role on Criminal Minds, it has been officially announced that the replacement for Mandy Patinkin will actually be Joe Mantegna. The actor will not actually be replacing Patinkin in that role, but will play a new character to fill the empty slot in the FBI team. No word has been released yet as to the reason for Mandy Patinkin’s departure and lips are still sealed as to how they will write the character of Jason Gideon out of the show.

Executives for Criminal Minds have been scrambling to find someone to take on a new role on the show ever since Mandy Patinkin abruptly bowed out of the show just as filming for the new season began. Harvey Keitel is the newest actor to be in talks for taking on a replacement role. I can totally picture him as a behavioural analyst with the FBI!
