Kevin Nealon will run down the funniest ads of 2007, including international commericals, airing on TBS at 9 PM.
Like Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli before her, Queen Latifah is jumping on the weight loss bandwagon as the latest spokesperson for Jenny Craig.
People magazine is confirming that Queen Latifah has signed on to endorse Jenny Craig, beginning in January.
Scott Parker, Jenny Craig’s vice president of marketing, said:
“We officially confirm that Queen Latifah will join the Jenny Craig program in January. We are thrilled to have Queen Latifah support our mission of improving health by taking her first step toward achieving a more healthful lifestyle.
Queen Latifah joins forces with Jenny Craig to communicate the importance of how small lifestyle changes, in the areas of diet and exercise, can have positive effects on overall health.”
Parker added that Queen Latifah will have a “very different campaign, focused on a healthier lifestyle, not on getting onto a specific dress size.”

Adorable “Mac Guy” Justin Long and girlfriend Drew Barrymore appear to be getting more serious. The two can be seen in the upcoming film, “He’s Just Not That Into You,” but the real news is that Justin Long and Drew Barrymore spent Thanksgiving with his family in Fairfield, Connecticut.
True love for the Mac Guy and the quirky actress? Barrymore’s previous boyfriends include “Scrubs” star Zach Braff and director Spike Jonze.
Dick Wilson, of “Please, don’t squeeze the Charmin” fame, passed away today from natural causes. He was 91.
Wilson appeared in more than 500 commercials as Mr. Whipple – who always urged the housewives shopping at his store to refrain from squeezing the toilet paper.
Wilson also appeared on other shows, including “Bewitched,” “Hogan’s Heroes” and “The Bob Newhart Show,” but it was his role as Mr. Whipple that he was most identified with. He appeared in the Charmin campaign from 1964 through 1985.
USA Today has launched a countdown of the ‘Top Twenty-Five Commercials of the Last Quarter Century.’ Babies of the Eighties will remember ‘Lifealert’s’ 1990 television moniker ‘I’ve Fallen And I Can’t Get Up!’ The timeless ad took the Number One spot.
