Awww… awesome! Gary Cole (Office Space boss: “Yeah, I’m gonna need you to go ahead and come into work on Saturday”) will be joining Chuck as a guest star during a November sweeps episode. Gary Cole wll play Sarah’s father.
Chuck will also feature a variety of other guest stars this season, including Nicole Richie, Michael Clarke Duncan, John Larroquette, Tony Hale, Bruce Boxleitner and Morgan Fairchild (Boxleitner and Fairchild will play Capt. Awesome’s parents!).

Sour grapes, NBC? “Scrubs,” which will now air on ABC, shot their series finale last week, featuring a return by past guest stars from the last eight years. That is, except for NBC stars Masi Oka (Heroes) and Sarah Lancaster (Chuck) who were banned by the network from appearing on Scrubs. Read the rest of this entry »

Cool news, “Chuck” fans – NBC has given a back-nine order (full season pickup) for the computer-geek-turned-secret-agent series. And the second season of “Chuck” hasn’t even premiered yet!
“Chuck” returns to NBC September 29 at 8 p.m. The Hollywood Reporter reports that NBC execs liked the first six episodes of the second season enough to issue the early full season pickup. Read the rest of this entry »

OK, Tony Hale fans, Arrested Development’s Buster is returning to TV with guest roles on “Chuck” and “Samantha Who?”

NBC has officially announced their 2008/2009 schedule. New shows include My Own Worst Enemy, Kath & Kim, starring Molly Shannon and Selma Blair, Knight Rider (for real – they picked up the series following the success of the February movie!), Crusoe, The Philanthropist, Merlin and Kings.

How cool is this, “Chuck” fans? If you ever thought that Chuck Bartowski could transfer nicely to a comic book — you’re in luck! A “Chuck” comic book is on the way…
Beginning in June, “Chuck” will be available in a comic book version. DC Comics’ WildStorm will create the “Chuck” inspired comic. Look for it June 11.
